Hi Rebel! Welcome to Beyond BARS Coaching!

 🚀 The Sober Rebel Mission

🌱 Our Mission

Beyond BARS Coaching 501 (c)(3) and the Sober Rebel Club exist to support alcohol-free women—especially those who are system-impacted— in rebuilding safety, self-trust, and stability through trauma-informed coaching, nervous-system education, and community connection.

We believe sustainable sobriety and successful reentry are not created through willpower or punishment, but through structure, safety, and support.

Beyond BARS Coaching is the framework. The Sober Rebel Club is the living, breathing community.

Together, they create a continuum of care—from structured coaching to ongoing, real-world support.

👋 Hello. I’m Vanessa.

✨Sober Rebel since 12/09/2020

I live and work on unceded Ohlone land, which continually reminds me of resilience, community, and responsibility.

From ages 13–17, I lived in group homes, and the transition into adulthood was anything but smooth—I was unhoused within a year. Those experiences shaped my life’s work.

Today, I’m on a mission to support system-impacted women navigate major life transitions with structure, compassion, and tools that create real stability and belonging.

🧠 What You'll Learn.

  • CLARIFY YOUR GOALS: Receive a personalized, step-by-step Sober Rebel Plan that integrates your education + career journey, while maintaining a strong, authentic LinkedIn profile that reflects your growth and goals.

  • HONOR THE 3 PILLARS: You'll build supportive goals across Nourishment, Self-Care, and Personal Development—the three pillars that ground our work and create sustainable progress.

  • CULTIVATE HEALTHY MOBILITY: Through a thoughtful blend of herbal wellness and trauma-informed yoga, you’ll develop a mobility practice that restores movement, supports nervous-system regulation, and help your body feel safer, steadier, and more resilient.

🧩 The F.A.S.T. Method

Beyond BARS Coaching is rooted in the FAST Method, designed to support long-term recovery and reintegration:

  • Foundation — establishing nervous-system safety, daily rhythms, and basic needs

  • Accountability — supportive structure, reflection, and follow-through

  • Support — trauma-informed coaching, peer connection, and community care

  • Tools — practical, repeatable practices that regulate the body and build resilience

Healing happens through safety + repetition, not pressure.
